The choices selected by the two prevailing parties in American politics are Hillary Clinton (as a Democrat) and Donald Trump (as a Republican). Hillary Clinton is a career politician. She has served as the First Lady of the United States (under Bill Clinton, the 42nd president of the U.S.), the U.S Secretary of State, and a U.S. Senator from New York. Donald Trump has been a business man, building lavish hotels and casinos, starring in television shows, and writing books.

Donald Trump has had a tough track record. He has insulted people of many kinds (women, African-Americans, Latinos, LGBTQ+, Muslims etc.), built many buildings that eventually had to be closed down, and said many things that show what an erratic person he is. One of these examples presented itself about 2-3 days ago (October 7, 2016). It was a tape recording of Donald Trump and a conversation he had with Billy Bush. In the tape, Trump said that he made moves on a married woman and tried to have sex with her (knowing she was married). He said that because of his status, he could do anything to women. He said "You know, I'm automatically attracted to beautiful - I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it, you can do anything." He is saying that he can sexually assault women because he is rich and famous. He dismissed this as "locker room banter." I will say this again, Mr. Trump is describing sexual assault. He has tried in the past to stay reserved and not say things he would regret, but he always ends up saying things and doing things he can not take back. He is egotistical, does not have any experience or knowledge about the current events, and is erratic. He would, therefore, threaten the security and safety of this country. Many world leaders have expressed concern for the future of America and have expressed their disdain for this man. Is this the man you want to be your president?

I urge you to please vote. Not just for your party or for who your friends are voting for; but with knowledge of who you are voting for and why you are voting for them.
